Disc Does Not Play

There are a few reasons why your disc might not play. The list below offers a few remedies.

1. Clean the disc by wiping the disc from the center outwards using a soft cloth (no paper towels).  Clean the disc with a solution of water and mild detergent or rubbing alcohol.  Never use abrasives, solvents, or highly acidic cleansers.

2. Ensure that you are playing the correct disc in the correct player with compatible accessories.

3. Try another disc in the player to verify that the player is not the source of the problem.

If the disc does not play_properly after cleaning it, you can report this through our IVR at 1-866-733-2693. Below are the steps:

If you still have the disc:

  • Dial 866-733-2693
  • Option 1 for Disc Won't Play
  • Option 1 for Still Have the Disc
  • Enter the 9 digit barcode from the sticker on the disc
  • Enter the last 4 digits of the credit card used for the disc rental
  • Enter the billing zip code that was entered at the kiosk or during the reservation
  • If the reservation is found with that information, proceed and follow the prompts

If you no longer have the disc:

  • Dial 866-733-2693
  • Option 1 for Disc Won't Play
  • Option 2 indicating you no longer have the disc
  • Enter the last 4 digits of the credit card used for the disc rental
  • Enter the billing zip code that was entered at the kiosk or during the reservation
  • Verbally state the first 3 characters of your last name & confirm by verbally saying Yes
  • If the reservation is found with that information, proceed and follow the prompts

Return the disc to our Box (before or after reporting this) to prevent additional nightly rental charges
