Audio issues
Use the following troubleshooting steps to address audio performance issues:
General Troubleshooting Tips
- Make sure the volume is turned up, both on your device and your Redbox Video Player.
- Try the sound on another device. If it works, the stream is fine and the issue is related to the device.
- Try playing another title.
Mobile Device / CE Device
- Verify your device has all the available software updates.
- Verify that you are on the current version of the application.
- Check your data/Wi-Fi connection for both upload and download speeds.
- Logout of the Redbox app, login and try again.
- Power cycle the device.
Web Browser
- Verify that your computer has all available software upgrades.
- Verify that you are on the current version of the browser (or a supported version).
- Verify your data/Wi-Fi connection is strong enough.
- Close the browser and try again
- Restart your computer.
