Account Password

If you've forgotten your password, or entered your password incorrectly 20-consecutive times initiating a 30-minute account lockout, you can reset the password. (If you entered your email address at a Redbox location and didn't set up an account through Redbox.com, you'll need to create a new account. You can create an account at <a href="https://www.redbox.com/account">https://www.redbox.com/account</a>.)
Web Browser Password Reset
1. You can visit the Redbox <a href="https://www.redbox.com/register/reset?returnUrl=%2faccount">Forgot Password</a> page to request a temporary password. (The temporary password is valid for eight (8) hours) 
2. Once you have your temporary password, you can login. 
3. The system will ask you change your temporary password immediately.*
Mobile App Password Reset
1. Select Forgot Password from the Redbox Sign In page. 
2. Enter your email address and select Send Password. 
3. Once you have your temporary password, you can login. 
4. The system will ask you change your temporary password immediately.*
*Passwords must contain:
* 8 characters 
* a number 
* a lowercase letter 
* an uppercase letter 
* a special character (for example, @$%*#?&amp;)

To view or make changes to your account, go to <a href="https://www.redbox.com/account">https://www.redbox.com/account</a> and login, or use the Redbox mobile app.
Within My Account, these are the things you can do:
Account Features
<ul>
<li>Account profile - includes attributes such as your birthday for rewards, your email address and password, and your payment methods</li>
<li>On Demand - device registrations and all of your notification preferences</li>
<li>Transaction History - for the last 90 days</li>
</ul>
Changing Account Information
Once logged in to your account, simply go to My Account - Settings in your web browser or go to My Redbox and tap the person icon at the top left hand corner of your mobile app. From there you can modify the following information.

<li>Profile - username, first &amp; last name, address, phone number and birthday</li>
<li>Sign In - email address and password</li>
<li>Payment Methods - credit card information</li>
<li>Promos &amp; Offers - marketing preferences such as text club and emails.</li>
</ul>

You can add or remove a payment card from your account via our website or mobile application only by following the steps below.
Mobile App
<ol>
<li>Select My Redbox.</li>
<li>Select the account icon at the top of the screen (top left corner).</li>
<li>Select Payment Method.</li>
<li>Select 'Add Card' to add to 'Edit' to remove</li>
<li>Add required payment card information including the payment card number, expiration date, name and billing zip code.</li>
<li>If you want this to be the default card, make sure to check &quot;Make Primary&quot;</li>
<li>Click 'Add' to have this card information saved to your profile</li>
</ol>
Redbox Website
<ol>
<li>Visit https://www.redbox.com.</li>
<li>Sign in with your email and password.</li>
<li>Select 'Settings'</li>
<li>Select 'Saved Payment Methods'</li>
<li>Select 'Add Card' to add to 'Edit' to remove</li>
<li>Add required payment card information including the payment card number, expiration date, name and billing zip code.</li>
<li>If you want this to be the default card, make sure to check &quot;Make Primary&quot;</li>

Adding / Removing Payment Card

If you are trying to change your phone number on the Redbox Website or Mobile App and are not seeing this update, it might be due to account having Kiosk Sign In currently setup.
Follow the below steps once logged in to your account and your phone number will be updated:
<ul>
<li>From the Sign In menu, disable Kiosk Sign In</li>
<li>From the Personal Information menu, edit your phone number and Save</li>
<li>From the Sign In menu, setup Kiosk Sign In by setting up your PIN code. You will receive the text message confirmation which you must reply with 'Go' to complete the process.</li>
</ul>

Phone Number Not Updating

Rented and purchased titles are located in <a href="https://www.redbox.com/library">https://www.redbox.com/library</a>. Rentals are automatically removed from your library when they expire.
To see titles currently in your library:

Mobile App
1. Click on My Redbox 
2. Select the Library tab

Viewing rentals and purchases in My Library

You can view the last 3 months of your transaction history after you've established an online profile with us. Transactions may take up to 48 hours to show up.
To view your transaction history:
Web:
1. Visit <a href="https://www.redbox.com/Account">https://www.redbox.com/Account</a> and login 
2. Select 'My Account - Transaction History' to view your transactions.
Mobile App:
1. Launch the mobile app and login 
2. Click on My Redbox 
3. Click on the Person icon in the upper-left corner 
4. Click on Transaction History

2. Log into your Redbox profile (use web or mobile app), go to Settings - Promos/Offers - Redbox Text Club and enroll.*

To unsubscribe from our email list, click on the Unsubscribe link near the end of the email. This will unsubscribe you from newsletters. If you provide your email address during checkout, you'll still receive rental receipts.
Additional methods to unsubscribe from emails:
1. Online - Login to <a href="https://www.redbox.com/">https://www.redbox.com</a> and go to My Account - Settings, from here you can update your email notification preferences under Promos &amp; Offers.

Redbox Perks

Members can earn points in the program by completing qualifying activities such as renting a movie or celebrating a birthday. For more information on earning points, visit https://www.redbox.com/redboxperks/terms.

How to Earn Redbox Perks Points

You can start using points on eligible movies as soon as you have at least 1,500 points. At this time, Redbox Perks points can only be used at the Kiosk. If the Use Points option is disabled (greyed out), this indicates that the title is not eligible for a full value discount and Redbox Perks points cannot be applied against it.
To use your points at the Kiosk, just sign in to Redbox Perks and select the Use Points button.
You can also use your points at redbox.com or our mobile app to make an online reservation.

How to Redeem Redbox Perks Points

After each transaction at the Box, your receipt will show the estimated points you've earned. After you return your rental and make a successful payment, your points will be added within 24-48 hours.
For On Demand, points move faster - and they'll be ready right after you make a successful payment.

Perks Points Availability

In the Perks program, your points will expire 12 months from the date of earning them. The 12-month time period will begin on the date you completed the transaction (not the date the points appear in your account).
On another note, all of your points will expire after 6 months of account inactivity (no rentals / purchases).

Perks Points expiration

That's easy - here's a look at our qualifying transactions within Redbox Perks:

<li>Rent a DVD, Blu-ray, 4K UHD dis or On Demand transaction</li>
<li>Buy a Used Movie at the Kiosk</li>
<li>Make an On Demand transaction</li>
</ol>
These qualifying transactions are only complete once you make a successful payment (if applicable). Each disc is counted separately toward your status levels even though they may be part of the same transaction. For example, you rent 2 discs under one transaction, your counter will increase by 2.

In the Perks program, once you reach a level, you'll be in it for the remainder of that year - plus the next year! Visit <a href="https://www.redbox.com/perks/">https://www.redbox.com/perks</a> and scroll down the page to learn more about the different levels in the program.
Checking your Status Level
The Program offers four levels of status: Perks, Star, Superstar, and Legend. Your status level is determined by the amount of discs rented, purchased etc. For example, if you have 3 discs in one transaction, your counter will increase by 3 toward the next status level.
